Eric Slivka, reporting for MacRumors:
Apple’s new iOS 6 Beta 4 just released to developers removes the dedicated YouTube app that has been included on the iPhone operating system since its launch in 2007.
Matthew Panzarino has some good analysis on why Apple did this. (Spoiler: Google)
As Shawn Blanc writes, I can’t remember the last time I used the YouTube app on either my iPhone or iPad. In fact, like Shawn, I have it stashed away in a folder of system apps I don't use. The icon is pretty bad, too.
