Don Lehman wrote a great article for The Tech Block analyzing the leaked parts of the new iPhone.
Of note, the black version looks stunning, especially with the tinted aluminum. I really like my white 4S, but the new two-tone white version doesn’t look nearly as nice as the black does. If/when I upgrade, it’ll definitely be to black. Even more stunning is the thinness of the device. Lehman estimates the new iPhone will be 32% thinner than the 4/4S, which seems crazy to me. (Then again, considering how thin Apple’s made the iPod Touch, it’s really not that crazy.) Overall, I’m glad to see Apple extending unibody engineering to the iPhone. Anything Jony Ive and his team can do to make it thinner, lighter, and more robust is fine by me.
Can’t wait to get my hands on one.
