Taking a cue from Shawn Blanc, I’d like to use today’s post to talk about a few of the things I’m thankful for.
- My family and friends. Whether I see you often or not, know that you are all awesome and my life would suck big time without you. (This is especially true for my sisters who I am very close to. I love you guys with all my heart.)
- My good health, good job, and overall good life. I’ve been through a lot of shit in my life, but I’m thankful now to be in a position where I’m successful at all facets of life: I have a great job with great co-workers, make a decent wage, and I’m still plugging away at the whole college degree thing.
- The opportunity to live in a time where I’m able to enjoy my iPhone, connect with people instantly through social media, and pay for that white mocha at Starbucks just by scanning my phone.
- I’m thankful for being able to wield this writing talent of mine to impress others and keep up with this blog. And I’m thankful I’m sharp (and geeky) enough to want to teach myself Markdown in order to better write my posts.
To my two subscribers and anyone else who happens to see this post, here’s wishing you and yours a very happy Turkey Day!
