Samit Sarkar, writing for Polygon, details the partnership between Microsoft and the NFL:
Microsoft's partnership with the NFL also makes the Surface the official tablet of the league, and Microsoft hopes that teams will start to use the devices on the sidelines during games. We saw a brief demo of a Surface app called X2 that's designed to allow team staff to more easily track concussions.
I wonder if this means that the league will now require teams use Surfaces as playbooks.
Good for Microsoft, I guess, who has failed miserably with the Surface. I think all you need to know about the thing is captured in this tweet by MG Siegler. (Be sure to read my reply too.)
