The much-anticipated Mailbox hit the App Store this morning, and my Twitter feed was going crazy over it. Like a good nerd, I downloaded the app and entered my reservation number -- last I checked, there were almost 18,000 people ahead of me -- but it’s useless to me at this point. The app’s description says it’s Gmail-only for now, which sucks because I don’t use Gmail. Support for other platforms is “coming soon”, so I’ll just have to wait to get my iCloud account hooked up. In the meantime, I’ll just be insanely jealous while reading Lex Friedman’s review for Macworld.
