A little birdie yesterday alerted me to a new video on Apple’s Education page, which highlights the use of iPads in special education classrooms. There are profiles of schools in Japan, the Czech Republic, and New York City. In essence, the video is my “Re-Enabled” piece in film.
As usual for Apple, the production value of this video is superb, and it warms my heart to see the company give Accessibility some well-deserved time in the spotlight. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Special Education link. There’s a lot of great information about Accessinility on iOS and OS X, as well as links to apps that are used in special education settings.
