Apple today finally released iOS 7.1. Among the Accessibility improvements: + Bold font option now includes the keyboard, calculator, and many icon glyphs + Reduce Motion option now includes Weather, Messages, and multitasking UI animations + New options to display button shapes, darken app colors, and reduce white point (Bullet points taken from Stephen Hackett's post on 512 Pixels.) Immediately following getting 7.1 on my 5S, I turned on Button Shapes. They still aren't pretty, but as I tweeted, they're functionally better and make my iPhone easier to use. Another nice touch that I noticed was that apps which use tabbed toolbars (e.g., Phone) now show a light blue shade around the button itself. It's great to see Apple put more explicit visual cues back into iOS 7's interface; I, for one, really appreciate them.
